Katie has a broad commercial practice and has particular expertise in international and domestic commercial arbitration and complex commercial disputes. She has acted in international commercial arbitrations under a range of arbitral rules and in international investment disputes.
Prior to coming to the NSW Bar, Katie spent over a decade in London acting for clients on large and complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, specialising in domestic and international commercial litigation, arbitration and investor-state dispute resolution. She has experience advising and representing clients in a broad range of sectors, including construction, infrastructure, mining and energy, software and banking and finance.
Katie is ranked in Doyles as a Leading Arbitration Barrister – Junior Counsel and is recommended in WWL Australia and New Zealand – Arbitration where she is described as “a highly accomplished barrister who is hailed as "an experienced and knowledgeable practitioner in international disputes".
Katie is a member of the NSW Bar Association’s International Committee. She holds a BA/LLB (Hons. I) from the University of Sydney and Master of Law from the University of Cambridge.
