Anastasia has a broad commercial practice. Her experience includes professional negligence claims, construction disputes, contract law, competition and consumer law, regulatory prosecutions, complex commercial disputes and international arbitral proceedings.
Anastasia has been instructed on behalf of clients in a number of jurisdictions, including government agencies, statutory bodies, joint venture participants, education authorities, company directors and officers, energy and resources companies, broadcasters, information technology companies, developers and owners of large infrastructure.
She has appeared in all levels of State Courts, in the Federal Courts in Australia, and before a range of domestic and international tribunals. Anastasia has acted as counsel assisting and counsel representing in statutory commissions of inquiry and royal commissions.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Anastasia was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Litigation & Dispute Resolution and an Associate at Baker & McKenzie (Sydney). Anastasia held in-house litigation roles in Australia and the United Kingdom, working in London for four years.
She was Associate to the Hon. Justice Chesterman AO RFD QC in the Supreme Court of Queensland.
